Working their way from producing solely septic tanks, Smith Pre-Cast underwent a successful transformation and development plan in the 60's and 70's where they were able to expand their product list and began manufacturing manholes. In the 80's and 90's they added the manufacturing of industrial waste interceptors, MSE wall panels, catch basins, specialty items and cast-in-place products. As a result of the addition of these new products and technologically advanced machines, Smith Pre-Cast was able to effectively cater to the growing Phoenix market and offer a larger variety of cutting-edge products.

In 2001, Smith Pre-Cast merged with U.S. Concrete and selected Bonnie Wasson, to guide operations as Smith Pre-Cast's General Manager. Since then, Smith Pre-Cast has added the strength and diversity of other valley companies, such as Reifkohl Contracting and Pre-Cast Manufacturing, to provide exceptional, timely service and additional top quality products. With the inclusion of these companies, under the umbrella of U.S. Concrete, Smith Pre-Cast has become a leader in providing pre-cast and cast-in-place products. These products include; septic tanks, IWI's, electrical and utility structures, box culverts, transformer pads, sewer manholes, catch basins, headwalls, and various specialty items around the state of Arizona and beyond. In additon to the variety of products, Smith Pre-Cast is now able to offer supplementary services such as installation, Sewer Shield coating, vacuum testing, insecta coating, coal tar epoxy coating and t-lock manhole lining.
